Acquisition
Carried by the guard who's patrolling Whistling Mine south of Winterhold. Can be pickpocketed from him (Perfect Touch perk needed) or looted off his corpse after he's been killed.
Notes
- This guard is the only one in the whole hold who's carrying a shield.
- Depending on which side you choose in the Civil War questline, the guards of the hold may be replaced by either Stormcloak or Imperial soldiers. The Guard Armor set will become unobtainable if that happens.
- Can be put manually on display, by using the Display Prep Station in the Curator's Office or by putting it in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet at the stairs to the armory's lower level.
