The Armory is situated up a flight of stairs accessed from The Library. It is divided into a main room, three circular rooms adjacent to the main room, and a Lower Gallery down a flight of stairs in the middle of the Armory.
There is also a Museum Storeroom where you can configure some of the museum displays.
Armory
This is where you can display non-special armors and weapons that you come across in your travels or craft yourself. The main room holds displays for common armor and weapon pieces, and displays for items from Immersive Weapons, Immersive Armors, Heavy Armory and Dawnguard Arsenal. The armor can be displayed by clicking on the display plaque or by placing it in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet next to the entrance. Weapons can only be displayed by placing them in the cabinet.
Lower Gallery
The lower level of the armory is reached by going down a stairway in the middle of the Armory. It has many undedicated displays for both armor and weapons that you can use as you see fit.
Display Rooms
There are three circular display rooms that you can fill with what you want. They function as a sort of personal armory. Any weapons or armor placed in these rooms will not count towards the total display count. See more >
Museum Storeroom
The Museum Storeroom can be accessed through the door at the staircase in the Staff Barracks. Note that it can't be reached via the Curator's Guide.
To the left of the stairs the Distilling Station is located. It can be used to brew drinks for the Reserve Vintages display, which is located in the two cabinets next to the station.
To the right there is a large Wine Rack, which is connected to your supplies via the Craftloot system. Behind the rack, there are random boxes, barrels, and other unused items. This is the location of the Macnarian Portrait during the quest Night at the Museum.
Straight ahead from the entrance, there is a table with a Strange Button and a model of the Classic Museum. On this table the "Mus-Tard-Jar" from BadGremlins Collection can be placed, although it does not count as a museum display.
Left of the table there is a Debug Portal that gives access to the Debug Room. The key to the portal can be found on the Key Rack at the wall above the table.
