I do not have morrowloot installed, but this dagger is always very finnicky, some playthroughs it's not there for me and some it is. I don't know if it could be a mod conflict or what, maybe a bug, but anyway hope that helps. Didn't know what you meant at first by note, so assuming you mean the note in Auryen's office, I hadn't gotten that one yet when I went to the cave.
