Acquisition
This weapon is provided as a replacement for Goldbrand or Eltonbrand as a reward for the completion of the Dark Brotherhood questline. In default Legacy, you would either assassinate the Emperor and find Goldbrand in the chest on his desk, or be awarded Eltonbrand for thwarting the Brotherhood's plans. When you take the sword, you are given a choice between the sword and the battleaxe version.
