Acquisition
Unenchanted variants can be found throughout Skyrim from level 6, and enchanted variants can be found from level 7.
Locations include:
- Blacksmiths and general goods merchants.
- Wielded by various characters and enemies.
- Found randomly in loot containers, or as a world item throughout Skyrim.
Smithing recipe
Crafting the item requires a smithing level of 50 and the Orcish Smithing perk. It can be made at a forge with the following materials:

- Must be placed in the cabinet by the armory entrance for it to display.
