What's the call on this? It's not official, but is is greenlit by Ice and has a number of displayable items. I don't plan on getting Beyond Skyrim anytime soon, so I can't check what it adds or get good picks.

    • Yes my point, if it has the LOTD Seal like how Midwood Isle and the Inn Soaps Display do, then we should do them, if not, then ignore it for the time being. Besides, this is bound to become bigger as its connected to the BS projects, if it reaches that point, then we should re-consider

        Loading editor
    • Midwood Isle no longer has the Seal of Approval. I personally think we should stick to only mods with a seal as outlayed in the update guidelines forum post I made a while back. Plenty of work still to be done, so it's not like we'll get bored or something haha.

  • Hey MerrianMay,

How are you doing in these strange times?

I was wondering if it would be okay if I messed with the top navigation a bit. I spent the day adding Navboxes to all SSE gallery pages (made the template myself, me=proud), i feel like the next logical step would be to edit the top navigation accordingly. Since we made the decision to have SSE be the primary focus, the top navigation should follow the museum V5 as well. I will find a way to ensure Pre V5 is still represented, maybe with a section or something, i'm not sure yet, i will figure it out as i'm doing it.

    Thanks - Maikel

    • Sure, go nuts :D I agree that it would be best to have the top navigation reflect V5 content.

  • I am not having trouble navigating the wiki.  The problemm is with the wiki.  On the Hall of Heroes page, when selecting the classic tab it stil displays the special edition page instead of displaying the classic page.  On other pages I have visited when selecting the classic tab it shows classic information, but this page does not.  If I can provide any other information, let me know.

Thanks, for your assistance in this.

    • Yeah, the spoiler tabs have been used very differently. Sometimes they are filled with the above mentioned template (that causes issues with tabview) (@Merrian, am i correct in thinking that template is what the onlyinclude tags are used for on all item pages? All these templates can get confusing), sometimes data has been manually added (which does not seems to cause any issues, but is a lot of work), and sometimes it's simply incomplete. So i suppose we could keep manually filled out ones, if someone would like to add all the information manually. You can always find it if you look in the history of the page if we go for the deletion route, which is the easiest.

So basically, Option 1: Delete and maybe do something later (easy & quick)

Option 2: Fix them all now (a lot of time consuming work, and not all tabviews will work)

    • Yes, that is correct :) I also think it would be best to delete them and the onlyinclude tags on the item pages. I have also got a Spoiler List which has been a work in progress for quite some time. I think that one should be deleted too, as it very cumbersome to edit and doesn't include any V5 items.

  • Hey, I noticed that this wiki needed updating to v5 and I was wondering if I could help out with that, and if so, where to start?

  • Finally ended the translation of the Hall of Oddities it took too much time.

Wish everybody Happy New Year  :)

    Here's the result.

  • Hey,

Recently some information was posted about an item that the Legacy team didn't want spoiled. I didn't know that some items were not to be spoiled, and always thought it was perfectly fine. But with their wishes to remove the information and images that spoil the attainment of the item, I've deleted and remade the page to remove the history (as well as deleting the images).

I believe the devs will message you about removing all the spoiler information, but it's already been taken care of so nothing needs to be done.

Sorry for the disturbance, Merrian. - Lurty

    • If you don't someone else will. Keeping something this popular a secret is unfeasable.

    • So this was said on the discord:

@Maikel, for background, part of the problem was he didn't bother putting the steps to find it in spoiler tags, as was the convention in the v4 wiki. Where info there is spoiler-ish, it should be in tags, so that it can be a choice for the readers (for instance, finding access to the treasury). But the bigger problem is that Ice had specifically asked people not to share info on that particular item (and several times over).

I (well Picky really) put a spoiler tag in the treasury page, as requested.

  • It would be good if you could update the front page to be relevant for V5 of Legacy. Or give someone permissions to edit it.

    • Ahh, I understand what you mean now. Yes, we will need to split up Origin too, then.

    • Made an overview post on the forum

      https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:17596

Should take all discussion there i think! It also has a lot of question haha, but what else did you expect from me at this point :)

  • Hello,

As I understand it, you are the only active moderator here? I have used this wiki many times when filling the museum, and with v5 around the corner, I really want to contribute to it. I already added a category for a mod, i think that worked lovely. My question is really, what is the most useful thing I can do? Make new pages for added mods, clean up certain unknown things (like the amulets of skyrim mod, that seems a little incomplete, missing IDs and locations). I don't really know if i can make great screenshots. Also many of the links link to LE nexus pages i've noticed, even the origin tab on all legacy's item technical info tabs, what is the policy on that stuff?

A lot of questions i know, but I really want to do something useful!

    Thanks, Maikel

    • Nice, so are you making screenshots now while playing and then planning to upload them all in one go? With location pictures! That is really nice!

        Loading editor
    • That's the hope. A lot of the location pics are ones already on thew site, but few I'll need to go back for.

  • Is there some admin or moderator that's active? i want to ask for the deletion of certain pages that have the wrong name. Particularly Caius Cosades' Letters Vol 1 and Vol 2. They are written incorrectly , as "Cosade's" and game doesnt actually have Volumes, but two named books. Book 1 : Caius Cosades' Letter Book 2: Caius Cosades' Visit to Uriel VII's Tomb

I will be making the actual pages and adding them to the Library 1st floor page, so if anyone sees this that can delete pages , do delete https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/wiki/Caius_Cosade%27s_Letters%2C_Vol._1 and https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/wiki/Caius_Cosade%27s_Letters,_Vol._2

    thanks

  • New post from the Nexus page made me think we should make a page for all the Creation Club content made obsolete for this mod, since there seems to be a lot of people asking about it. Maybe a simple table with the CC pack and a link to the LotD equivalent? I'm not great at formatting these sorts of things.
