I just noticed you are testing new layouts of the item info box on your profile. Just wanted to let you know that we decided a while back not to include damage/armor stats on the item pages, as they differ too much because of skill levels and use of mods to be of any use.
I like having the origin line near the refID line :)
Oh okay, thanks for the info :)
I mainly want to test some template related stuff. The first do digits from the RefID for example are dynamically set depending on the Origin Value. Same for the load order info text. You can check the Template:Infobox test to see what I mean :D
Question do you know if it's possible to get Page Categories set depending on specific values in the infobox?
So for Example if the Origin is Immersive Weapons it automatically adds the category: Immersive Weapons, but if the Origin is Legacy it leaves the category blank? And then maybe even do it for the gallery and item type category?
I created a template Template:Category to avoid creating categories for user pages or even templates. This template adds a the category you want to a page. I added it to the Template:Stupid at the end of the infobox tag. For now it adds Origin, Type and Subtype categories but this can easily be changed.
As for the location, I'd put it outside the infobox since we already have a heading "Acquisition" there. Another possibility that comes to my mind is adding a "Gallery" heading at the end and put all the images with a caption in there.
I'll help changing the RefID errors once the new template is used :)
I'm in awe, took me a whole day to understand portable infoboxes and make them do stuff (I won't talk about css...)
Moved your template with the dynamically generated Refid text over to Template:Item (They're on timed admin level locks because I barely trust myself not to mess up irrevocably)
Talked with Merrian over the nexus we are going to move the location pictures to a gallery named Location since only a couple of pages are really long anyway.
I need to mess around with the category thing a bit. I'd need to exclude certain entries and have some switch to a diffrent category then what's entered. But thanks to a flu, I have time in the next couple of days to toy around with that.
Seeing some of the things you did with the Quest pages and wow, they look so much sleeker then the info dumping I did everywhere.
