  • What's wrong with RefIDSSE in item templates? It does not show the ref ID when used on a template.

    • So I have been doing a lot of figuring out how to do templates. I have fired a lot of questions and thoughts about it at MerrianMay, on what would be the best way to go about it. She's quite busy, but says she'll get back to me about it all tomorrow.

      The refid section is actually quite difficult, since it pulls from the origin to produce that little bit of text (Replace XX with "mod"). But SSE and Classic origin are different, so if we want to link to SSE Nexus (which we should) that presents a whole other problem, really quite tricky. I have some ideas, but i need Merrian to tell me if they would actually work :P So for now, don't use it. The MuseumSSE= works fine though and should be used, it's really nice :)

      If that's figured out that should also provide some concrete rules on when a page should be split, if it should redirect, if a tabview should be used, etc, so everything looks similar (which I probably care more about then I should LOL) I would love to hear your thoughts on it, as you've been editing a lot longer than me :) I've been trying to consolidate all that's been decided on a forum post, there's a link to the discord there, which is an easier way to talk about these sort of things + input from the devs is very helpful, they know stuff.

    • Sorry about that. A few SSE's was missing in the template code. I will be removing the option for SSE for the ID, let me know if you come across any items that has a different ID in SSE and we can reimplement it. For now it doesn't seem like it is necessary.

  • Hey, do you know how to get to room of lost relics. COC DBMUtility2 command wont work

    • Or if you know how to get a lot of items fast, like if i want to get to 100 items so i can start a quest how to get them without just doing player.additem for every single one

    • dbmqa or dbm_qa, I can't remember if it has a little space thing. And it will mess up your game, only for testing purposes. I have blown up many test saves!

  • Good since well as cool as it would be to have both on the mantle AND on display if i cant geab it or the item ID for all the questitems fails to load... kinda stuck lol but good to know. Thats an update ill watch for

    • Oh yea also. Is there a workaround since I also accidently put ognars hammer back in my inventory thinking I could toss it or put it in the museum... no dice

    • The Kegbreaker is in the Daedric Gallery. The display only enables after you show the weapon to Auryen (as directed by the quest). If it for some reason got autosorted before the display enables, you can take the following steps:

      1. Take the kegbreaker out of the Safe. Do not touch anything else, reload if you do.

      2. Show it to Auryen and finish the quest

      3. Place it back in the safe, not the display, not the sorting desk, not any other place. You took it from the safe, put it back in the safe. That should make the activator for the display work properly. Don't do anything else in between these steps, no other quests, defintely no sorting, no nothing. Safe - Auryen (just the kegbreaker topic) - Safe.

      Also ensure Auryen is in the museum and not out on a quest/dig. And the museum is not robbed or haunted.

      For the Ghost Helm, just wait for the update and grab it then, it won't go anywhere.

      Also console use will mess up your game, certainly on quest related items, it will break quests. Only use the console for making beautiful screenshots to upload to the wiki please :)
