Acquisition
Fort Pale Pass Vaults, the unknown form is found during the 'Shattered Legacy' questline in a hidden room on a pedestal between two braziers. A pull chain that will open the door is hidden behind a glazed pot in an alcove.
Notes
- It should be noted that you are unable to access the hidden chamber prior to defeating Argus, as the pull chain is missing.
- When found it is called Ancient Shield. After talking to Auryen during the quest, it gets named. After 'Shattered Legacy', it reaches its final form.
- The basic form is part of the static Shattered Legacy quest display in the Reception Hall (Classic Skyrim) or in the Dragonborn Hall (SSE).
- There's only a replica recipe for the final version.
- The display can take both the original and the replica.
- You need to have the original in your inventory for the replica recipe to be available.

Effect
Contrary to a normal enchantment the Shield of Reman Cyrodiil adds its enchantment in the form of a buff. This way the item itself can be enchanted by the player normally on top of that.
Reman's Wall reduces stagger from enemy attacks by 10% per set piece equipped (up to 80%). Also provides a spell reflection ability when blocking (same as the Spellbreaker enchantment).
