Legacy of the Dragonborn

A female Imperial who acts as the Guild's quartermaster. She cannot be sent out on excavations, but can be taken with you as a follower. She shares her shop with Yolanda, Egriss and Eringoth. Some lines of her dialogue with you indicate that she's a former thief and/or fence who became legit.

Digging up Explorers

[Show]
Dragonborn Eriana
So Auryen at the museum tells me you know your way around trading. Oh? Yes, I have been known to locate things from time to time. Auryen is a good customer. Do you know him?
We work together at the museum and are starting an Explorers Guild together. Oh? And he mentioned me by name?
That he did. Thought you would make a good Quartermaster. Interesting. I have entertained the idea of running my own shop from time to time. Being part of a Guild would reduce my overhead considerably. I must however, be able to sell to the public.
Absolutely, you just have to give members a discount. Then it seems we have a deal. I assume there's a Guildhouse? Or are we just going to sleep in the museum basement?
Of course. The Guildhouse is attached to the museum, Auryen will show you. I'll see you there then, Guildmaster.

As a follower

[Show]
Dragonborn Eriana

Follow me, I need your help.
(recruiting her as a follower)

  • I suppose the shop can run itself for a while. Where are we headed?
  • It seems you already have someone's help.
(if the player already has a follower)
Time to manage the loot.
(accessing her inventory)
I'm sure there are plenty of items here that will fetch a nice price.
Let's split up now.
(dismiss her)
Alright then, should be getting back to the shop anyhow.
Wait here. Sure, but don't be long.
Ok, let's keep going. Ready when you are.

I need you to do something.

  • What is it?
    (followed by player's command)
  • Changed your mind? Well, let me know.
    (if command's aborted)
  • I'm on it. (agrees)
  • I'm not the right person for that job. (refuses)
  • I really don't think that would be smart, Guild Master. (refuses)

Excavation of Windcaller Pass

[Show]

Idle chat, topics depend on quest progression

Dragonborn Eriana
So, do we have everything we need set up? Yes, we should be fully equipped and good to go, Guild Master. I'll be sticking around base camp to make sure everyone has whatever they might need.
Lots of excitement going on here. Yes, dragons, I hear. Glad I'm out here and not down in there. ...You don't suppose they would fly out of the clearing and swoop down here, do you? Well, I'll keep the fire low just to be safe.
Hold down the fort, we'll be back. Best of luck.
Holding up out here? It's more work to keep the fire stoked out here what with all the wind.
Don't worry about the beast, I'll deal with it. I hope you manage to figure it out. Doesn't sound pleasant, whatever it is.

Excavation of the Ruins of Rkund

[Show]

Idle chat, answers depend on quest progression

Dragonborn Eriana

How are you doing?

  • I really hope those wisps don't come back while we're digging around out here.
  • Always exciting to find new treasures.
  • I feel like we are being watched from the shadows.
  • Such intricate work the Dwemer can do, and on such large scale, too.

Trial of Trinimac

[Show]

Choosing the new Chief of Archaeology

Dragonborn Eriana
What do you think about the Chief Archaeologist position? It won't be the same without Marassi. I know it sounds odd but consider Kyre for the job. He may surprise you. I know he's been studying non-stop since he got here.

Idle chat, topics depend on quest progression

Dragonborn Eriana

How are things?

  • It's really amazing to think that a Snow Elf ruin has been down there under the fort all this time.
  • I think we're in pretty good shape for supplies.
  • I sometimes wish I could do more than simply supporting the others. Maybe someday you could teach me a thing or two?
  • Good food, good drink, soft, warm bedrolls, that's the key to keeping a work crew happy.
  • It's been difficult, and we've had a few injuries, but nothing I can't handle fixing.
  • We're making some good headway, but Kyre could always use another set of hands.

Holding up ok?

  • It's very sad about Marassi. I'm going to miss his sense of humor around here.
  • We'll bounce back eventually. We always do.

The Hand of Glory

[Show]
Dragonborn Eriana
Ever hear of the Hand of Glory? Of course I have! What thie... err antiquarian hasn't? Why?
I'm the current bearer of the Hand. You? You have the...well, I must say that I am at a complete loss for words. Where in the world did you...? Nevermind, that's not important. May I see it?
Sure, have a look. My, how positively grotesque! Yet morbidly fascinating. Are the stories true? Is the candle really... No, I don't want to know. Yes I do. No I don... Oh this is quite the dilemma.
Would you like to be the next bearer of the Hand? What? Really? You would just give it up? Hmm...I know. Worried it's going to up and strangle you one day aren't you? If you ask me, that's just a folk tale.
There is some truth to it. It does drain you over time. I see. So the curse is real. And by accepting it onto myself, I would free you from it.
The man I received it from was on his deathbed due to the curse. But I need to accept it willingly don't I?
Are you sure you could resist? Its powers are seductive. Of that I have no doubt. I can think of a few good uses for it, but they are few and far between. I can't see myself making regular use of it...not anymore. It'll be fine.
I've changed my mind. I think I'll hold on to it for now.
(chance to exit conversation)
That is your decision to make Guild Master. Let me know if you change your mind. I doubt my interest will wane in the meantime.
Do you still want the Hand of Glory?
(resuming conversation)
Of course! Now, what do I need to do? Is there some kind of ritual? Do I need to burn something under a full moon at midnight or somesuch?
Are you certain you want the burden? ...Yes. I think that I am. It's worth the bragging rights alone and I can think of a few of my contacts who would be more than a little impressed. If it gets to be too much to handle, I'm sure I could find someone to pass the torch to. No pun intended. Now, what do I need to do? Is there some kind of ritual? Do I need to burn something under a full moon at midnight or something?
[Explain how to craft the candle] Oh. Well that's...unique. I think I can handle that. Consider your curse broken Guild Master. I'll find what I need to remake the candle on my own. Thanks a lot for this.
You're welcome? I know it seems odd, thanking someone for bestowing a lifelong curse onto them. But this artifact is too...precious to trail into the wrong hands.
