Acquisition
Unenchanted variants can be found throughout Skyrim from level 19, and enchanted variants can be found from level 20. Mostly used by Vampires and Falmer.
Smithing recipe
Crafting the item requires a smithing level of 30 and the Elven Smithing perk. It can be made at a forge with the following materials:

- Must be placed in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet by the armory entrance for it to display.
