- Can randomly be found in chests, sold by vendors or wielded by enemies from level 27 onwards.
- Can also be crafted at a forge.

- Armory items cannot be put manually on display. Use the Display Prep Station in the Curator's Office or put them in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet at the stairs to the armory's lower level for them to display.
- If MorrowLoot Ultimate is installed, Elven gear is removed from leveled lists and will only spawn on Thalmor soldiers or in Thalmor-controlled areas.
- SSE: This item shares its display space with the Elven Armor, however both have separate entries in the MCM, so both can be displayed and will count towards your total display count.
- Classic: The museum display accepts either this item or the Elven Armor.
