Acquisition
The shield is acquired from a radiant location during the Dawnguard side quest Lost Relic.
Can only be acquired if you choose the side of the Dawnguard faction in the Dawnguard DLC questline.

The display can take both the original and the replica.
You need to have the original in your inventory for the replica recipe to be available.
