The Curator's Office is located in the Hall of Heroes, and can be accessed through the Cultural Arts Hallway or the Staff Barracks.
This room holds most of the museum's interactive stations. The stations are described as they appear ingame, starting from the left of the entrance from the Cultural Arts Hallway.
Entrance
There's a stand where two sets of Museum guard's armor (Museum Armor Cuirass, Museum Armor Gloves and Museum Armor Boots) can be taken. They will respawn over time. Next to it is a display spot for Auryen Morellus's sword, Aedrasorn, which can not be taken out of it's display by anyone other than Auryen. To the right, behind the Scribe's Desk, a generic bookcase is found.
Scribe's Desk
The Scribe's Desk is the place where you can replicate quest-related books. Behind it a shelf with Writing Supplies is located where you can store Rolls of Paper and Inkwells, as well as a Leathercraft Supply which is connected to the one in the Safehouse. Next to the shelf the Museum Spoils chest is found where leftover items from Auryen's trades are placed from time to time (usually low-value, non-displayable items, but one does never know).
As time passes, Notes from Auryen starting short quests to obtain specific items will appear on and around the Scribe's Desk.
Keeper of Secrets
The Keeper of Secrets is a painting of Hermaeus Mora with a Dwemer inscription on the back that translates to "First middle last - Name of Artwork". Behind it is the Museum Safe. In here all items displayed in the museum will be stored. When activating the safe, a warning message will pop up. Take it seriously and do not mess around here until it's absolutely necessary!
Replica Station
A very important station is the Replica Station. As the name implies, the replica station can be used to make replicas of items. Quest books, scrolls and the like will need to be replicated at the Scribe's Desk which is accessed by sitting down on the chair in front of the desk.
On the shelf above it an activator to manage the gender of the armory mannequins is placed. With it, you can change the default (mixed) to only male and back. Warning: Empty all mannequins before changing the gender, or the displayed items will be lost! Also placed on the shelf is a small Store Supplies chest which works the same way as the one in the Safehouse.
Next to the Replica Station the Supplies crates and the Misc Items chest are located, they are linked with the supplies chests and the clutter chest in the Safehouse.
Display Drop-off
Located in the western corner of the Office, this chest can be used to put displayable items in it if you don't want to use the Display Prep Station. When leaving the menu you will be asked if the items in the chest should be displayed or left in the chest for the time being.
Display Prep Station
One of the most important stations is the Display Prep Station. It is a table with lots of different things on it, like statues and display cases, and takes up almost the entire northwestern wall of the Office. When activated, it will automatically sort all available museum items from your inventory to their display spots in the museum.
Painting Display Station
Located to the right of the Display Prep Station, this station can be used to display Paintings. When activated, it will take any paintings from your inventory and puts them randomly on display throughout the museum so you don't have to place them yourself.
Archaeology Station
At the northeastern wall, next to the corridor to the Reception Hall and Staff Barracks, one of three Archaeology Stations is located (available after completing A Room with a View and Digging Up Explorers). It can be used to craft items from your archeological fragments and reconstructed fossils from fossil fragments. Below it, storages for fossils and archeological fragments can be found, they are linked with the other two archaeology stations.
Relic Transfer Station and Shipment Planner
If The Curator's Companion is installed, a Relic Transfer Station will be added. It provides an automated way to put displayable items into the Display Drop-off chest so you don't have to go manually through your inventory.
The Shipment Planner can be used to activate shipping containers all across Skyrim, which you can use to send items to the museum. They will be placed in the Museum Shipments chest in the center of the Office.
Archaeological Installation
After reaching level 100 in the Archaeology Skills, this new station will be added to the right of the Shipment Planner. It can be used to reconstruct so called Master Projects, namely the Gate of Hrol (Nordic), the Throne of the Fabricant (Dwemer) and Auriel's Wayshrine (Falmer).
Center
Here a static display is located that changes from time to time and shows Nordic, Dwemer and Falmer stuff from different locations. The Museum Shipments crates are also placed here across from the Display Prep Station where all items placed in the shipping containers will show up after approximately 5 ingame hours.
