Legacy of the Dragonborn
SSE Version
Version 6 update
Version changes integrated.

If you head downstairs from the Hall of Heroes, you will find the door to the Armory. This is where you can display non-special armors and weapons that you come across in your travels or craft yourself. The main room holds displays for common armor and weapon pieces. If the following mods and their Legacy of the Dragonborn Patches (Official) SE patches are installed, extra displays for the mod items will be added:

Items can be displayed by using the Display Prep Station in the Curator's Office or by placing them in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet on the underside of the stairs to the lower ring. Note that except for the Thane Hold displays, weapons and armor cannot be put manually on display.

There are also weapon and armor displays for each of the nine Holds. Under each hold's shield, a mannequin is located representing the hold. Banners for each hold become visible when you have earned the title of Thane in the respective hold.

In the main room of the armory there are two doors leading to Display Rooms that hold non-dedicated mannequins and weapon racks you can fill any way you want. Any items displayed here do not count towards the museum's total display count.

Below is a list of all items that can be displayed here, from right to left, top ring to lower, starting from the entrance.

NOTE: In the cases of most Dragon Ebonsteel Armors, Elven Heavy and Guilded, Iron and Banded Iron, Falmer Heavy and Hardened Armor and Falmer Staves, only one display spot is used, although all variants are marked as separate by the MCM. In some cases this may result in the items occupying the same space on the display, regardless, both items will count towards the total display count.

Collecting all displays may require using "Immersive Armor Settings" in the MCM to change armor weight between Heavy and Light. Most of the Heavy and Light armor items have separate entries in the MCM, and in some cases, the displays for the items occupy the same position. The only exceptions being the Classic Veiled Helm, the Ebonsteel Armor set and the Dragon Knight Armor, who both heavy and Light sets have separate displays and may require altering IA settings in the MCM menu.
