Jumping magma puzzle, time tax cog piece puzzle with 12 buttons, and a keyhole to the Tower door that is in such a weird as frick place....Rkund sucks. Skyrim is not meant for high stakes parkour, you'll hit the edge of a platform and need to spam spacebar to glitch onto it. The 12 button puzzle is obnoxious with no guidance I could see anywhere, and the keyhole at the Tower just ticks me off. It blends in way too well. Why wouldn't it just be on the stone pillar part where the colours would contrast ??? Ugh.
What's on your mind?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this and apologies if it's not. I've recently installed LOTD and started the quest "Night at the museum".
Unfortunately, I've encountered a bug whereby I recover the journal from the natural science gallery, but when I show it to Brother Ikard, he does not acknowledge it and I can't progress the quest.
I've read the walkthrough and tried loading old saves etc, but after five hours of frustration figured I'd ask if any one has a suggestion.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Does anyone have further clarification of what / how the "Survey Dig Site" ability in the Archaeology tree works? It doesn't seem to add a quest, map site or pointer to a dig site to the user's HUD or menus.
When I finish the task Trial of Trinimac , the original music of TESV is changed.
2 original music: A Winter's Tale and The Bannered Mare are replaced to LOTD music, and I can never enjoy this 2 original music again.
I want to stop LOTD music or start the 2 original music. And I know I could use CONSOLE and the command ADDMUSIC/REMOVEMUSIC. But I don't know the music ID of LOTD, or the IDs of 2 original music.
Can you help me to know the IDs of LOTD?
Can you help me to know the IDs of A Winter's Tale and The Bannered Mare?
Or can you help me to know how to turn off the music of LOTD?
Does anyone know how to fix this quest? it is stuck at the point where the ghost shows you the snow elf ruins and you are supposed to talk to one of the explorer's guild members to start the last excavation for the mod.
I know this is a discussion page but the merchant says he sells the orbs but i only see empty ones and idk how to get the orbs for the teleport key can someone help plz
I have all 3 staves from the quest. I successfully delivered the one from xrib and irkngthand. I'm not getting an option when speaking to calcemo to deliver the one from alftand. Any suggestions? I'll cc idc about the risks but I don't know the quest codes.
Why don't I have this blue box here that you can put stuff in by hand? I had it before when I played. I have the latest version of mod and curators companion. Sometimes
when I use the automatic sorting box, the mod doesn't automatically take the items that I can lay out, and it usually helped when I put them manually.
Not sure if this is asked in the right place, but I have V19.3.01 with the update to V19.3.06 loaded on PC version of skyrim. My problem is, is that the library level 3 as shown here in this guide does not match the version that exists in the game?
Is there some reason they are different and can that be changed?
I have completed the civil war quest line on the imperial side and the stormlord cuirass didn’t spawn on Ulfrics body, I have reloaded multiple times and it won’t be on his body, I have the guard armor replacer mod installed but when I disable that it won’t spawn as well he is just in his normal garb. What should I do?
And not screw up collecting what you need.
Obtain Sword of Jugg
After obtaining Sheogorath-Shaped Amber, use it at the Atronach Forge with a ruined book, bliss bug thorax and sabre cat pelt to summon the Tome. This is the only way to obtain the tome.
Make a replica of the tome for the museum, then use the tome to learn the spell.
Make a replica of the Sword of Jugg and give the original to Staada to complete her quest and obtain the helmet.
You should not give Staada the Sheogorath-Shaped Amber, to complete her quest. You will lose the opportunity to obtain the tome. hate having to go through a chain like this to not screw up my collection.
I can help to complete that section by giving you some screenshot et description about it
To give an overview of what you get when upgrading to AE (intentionally or not...), and what you have to keep in mind if you do, I wrote a little guide which can be found here.
Check it out and tell me what you think.
UPDATE: Both Creation Club Patch Hub and The Curator's Companion have been updated today (Feb. 14th).
UPDATE 2 (Feb. 15th): Item template has been updated to handle BaseIds from esl plugins. Check the blog post.
Does anyone know what is supposed to be put on the Dark Brotherhood Mannequin in the Hall of Secrets?
I cannot find anything anywhere which even mentions this Mannequin, unlike the Mannequin in the Hall of Lost Empires (Who is supposed to wear Dwemer Armor)
My best guess is the Jester Outfit, worn by Cicero.
Hi there,
I was wondering where I can find links to the music originally used throughout this mod. I have looked everywhere but can't seem to find anything.
Thanks!
Hi, I'd like to know how many and what are the unofficial patches for LotD
I know there are the Trainwiz's one (Blackreach Railroad, Aethernautics and others)
Brotherhood of old
Midwood Isle
Volkihar Knight (don't remember if official or not)
Identity Crisis
Bruma
Others?
Because I want to help adding them to the wiki (obviously with unofficial template), because many people use them
As Bign00se123 already stated in this post, this forum is not the place to ask for technical support after installing LotD. Please read the Legacy of the Dragonborn Full Guide on the LotD nexus page and/or ask for support there.
We cannot provide troubleshooting info, any posts regarding technical support will be deleted.
As it was announced, the new Fandom layout is out now; the old Oasis layout is deprecated and will soon be removed. For those who don't like the new colours (bright yellow - really?) and want to keep the layout clean, go to Preferences - Appearance and switch to FandomDesktop. Then go to the Fandom Desktop section and click the following:
Content Width - default (left button). This will keep the page width as it was before. You can collapse/expand the page with the button in the upper left corner.
Right Rail - hide (right button). This will hide the page tools rail on the right, unfortunately also the recent wiki activity list. Again, you can let the rail appear by clicking the button in the upper right corner.
Theme - Defer to wiki preset (right button). The Fandom rail, now located on the left, will have the colours that are given by this wiki so they don't hurt your eyes ;-)
I opted into the new wiki layout when it told me I could. It's really bad, it changed the colors of the pages and made it so it was very visually unappealing. I managed to change it back to the original, it's Oasis in preferences.
Heey Everyone,
On the Wiki channel in the Odyssey Discord, some discussion about the wiki was had. It made me realize we may need some new guidelines for editing, to make sure things are clear.
Firstly I would like to point out https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Policies as well as https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/wiki/Legacy_Wiki:Policies_and_guidelines
Those are the current guidelines as well as the help page for creating guidelines, which give some helpful tips.
Icecreamassasin, the creator of Legacy of the Dragonborn, suggested the following:
Legacy of the Dragonborn Wiki guidelines:
-All data for LE and SE versions should be separated into their respective sub pages.
-No posting of cheat or workaround console commands designed at circumventing normal play (completing quests, bypassing systems, etc) unless the action was recommended by a development team member as a fix for a known issue.
-As is the general rule indicated in the Legacy of the Dragonborn full guide (link to Nexus Article). We DO NOT endorse player use of the console outside of troubleshooting (which means normal play is not continued after console was used) or developer advisement; it is called the "developer console" for a reason and can lead to inconsistencies in your game, instability and wastes our time when you present other issues in support which may have been exacerbated by console use.
-If an edit to a page is reverted or amended by another user, please verify with current wiki coordinators (Administrators) as to if the edit was done with authority or if the information should be put back in. DO NOT simply undo the change to put your content back in until confirming with them that it should be.
-If you are not on the most current version, please indicate your version number in your article contributions. If the addition is consistent with the most current version, wiki coordinators may opt to remove the version indicator. If the element differs in the current version, they will retain the note about applicable versions.
- The Spoon is a secret (Shhhhh)
When reading the help page, the first thing that comes to me is that this is somewhat long, see the KISS method section. Also some things should be more like editing guidelines, not overarching Wiki Policy.
I say we make two pages:
A wiki policy page, that has some policy's like:
The Wiki should not include technical information about installing and/or bugs with Legacy of the Dragonborn. Readers should be directed towards the Official Guide (INSERT LINK) for technical information or help.
As an extension of this rule, the Wiki should not provide recommendations for usage of Console Commands.
We should also have an editing guidelines page, that mostly just takes all the guidelines / templates we've been using and i've been compiling in https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/f/p/3702587513635003076
These are the guidelines that should help people design the actual pages, using the correct format.
I would also like to draw attention again to my post about the Forums here:
https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/f/p/3819930550010043092
Please discuss any Policy's or Guidelines in the comments of this post. When we've reached a consensus of what policy's to have, we should start the actual voting process.
